 DISEC is the first committee of general assembly of UN that is concerned with the disarmament, peace and international security. It seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.Devoted to “the establishment and maintenance of international peace and security,” this committee focuses on the topics of arms control, pacifistic conflict resolution, and global safety.
