ECOFIN is  deals with the economic aspect of the world.The committee solves problems in the area of global finances and economics. It is one of the six standing committees of the General Assembly, and also referred to as the "Second Committee". The committee deals with issues related to economic growth and development, financing for development, sustainable development, poverty eradication, and other economic and financial world issues. Delegates with an interest in monetary and fiscal matters will find ECOFIN to be an excellent challenge.
